This is a very special blog post. Tavola Tours had a wonderful culinary and cultural adventure to the region of Campania, Italy. One of the main reasons for traveling with Tavola Tours is to learn about and explore areas that are off the beaten path. A visit to the lush Cilento coastline just south of the Amalfi Coast offered a great opportunity to do just that. Some call this area one of the best-kept secrets in Italy. Another great secret of this area is the Blue Grotto of Palinuro. This symbolic grotto is absolutely stunning. However, Palinuro’s Grotta Azzura differs from the more well-known Grotta Azzura of Capri. Do you know how and why?
